Create your adoption plan

One of our professional will help you providing you all the information you need, paperwork, answers and guidance to start your adoption journey. Rainbow of Love can help you through 3 types of adoption plans: it can be Open, Semi-open or Close. It depends on your wishes of knowing more or less or nothing at all about the adopting family for your baby.

Choose your adoptive family – be supported

Select a family from approved agency profiles who will meet your expectations while offering your baby a wonderful, stable, loving, and permanent home. Minimum information will be shared between both parties. Rainbow of Love will provide you with support, including meeting with your dedicated case manager, or certified counselor as needed.

Prepare for delivery

Create a hospital plan with the understanding that you have control over what happens at the hospital. This plan will include your expectations regarding time spent with the baby (up to 48 hours), the involvement of the adoptive family and plans for discharge.

Complete the legal plan and place the baby with the family

Rainbow of Love will be with you and advocate for you at the hospital. The baby will leave with the adoptive family while we prepare consents together. You will need to sign the relinquishment so that the baby may be legally placed into adoption. Rainbow of Love will help you understand and complete these requirements.

On-going support

Rainbow of Love will ensure you have a healthy recovery and a plan of action. Your case manager will remain available to you during this time
